THE MEDIUM IS THE MESSAGE
Coined by Marshall McLuhan meaning that the form of a medium embeds itself in the message, creating a symbiotic relationship by which the medium influences how the message is perceived.
ENGRAM
A means by which memory traces are stored as biophysical or biochemical changes in the brain (and other neural tissue) in response to external stimuli. In Dianetics it is defined as a mental image picture which is a recording of an experience containing pain, unconsciousness and a real or fancied threat to survival.
PETROSOMATOGLYPH
An image of parts of a human or animal body in rock often functioning as an important form of symbolism, used in ceremonies.
EXIMIOUS
Distinguished; eminent; excellent.
CACOLOGY
Bad choice of words or poor pronunciation.
S.T.E.M. COMPRESSION
The most complex of the universe's extant systems at any time use progressively less space, time, energy and matter (STEM) to create the next level of complexity in their evolutionary development. Often linked to the concept of accelerating change. Related to ephemeralization.

MORPHOGEN
A substance governing the pattern of tissue development in the process of morphogenes. See “The Chemical Basis of Morphogenesis” for more information.
INGEMINATE
Duplicate or repeat (word or statement), often for emphasis.
SARIRA
Comes from the Sanskrit word for body. Relics used to emanate blessings and grace within the mindstream and experience of those connected to them. Sarira are also believed to ward off evil.
BELBIC
Brain Emotional Learning Based Intelligent Controller, a neurocontroller that mimics those parts of the brain which are known to produce emotion.
PROXY
An agent or substitute authorized to act for another person. Often used in context with other concepts: example Proxy war, a war where two powers use third parties as a substitute for fighting each other directly.
INEFFABLE
Something that is inherently too great, complex, or abstract to be adequately communicated.
APOCRYPHAL
Of doubtful authorship or authenticity.
RENITENT
Resisting physical pressure; resisting constraint or compulsion.
HOMEOSTAT
One of the first devices capable of adapting itself to the environment; it exhibited behaviours such as habituation, reinforcement and learning through its ability to maintain homeostasis in a changing environment.
COMMODIFICATION
The transformation of goods and services, as well as ideas or other entities that normally may not be considered goods into a commodity.
NATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING (NLP)
A field of computer science, artificial intelligence, and linguistics concerned with the interactions between computers and human (natural) languages.
VACUOUS TRUTH
A statement that is devoid of content because it asserts that all members of the empty set have a certain property. For example, the statement “all cell phones in the room are turned off” may be true simply because there are no cell phones in the room. Such statements make assertions about objects which do not actually exist.

TRIUNE ETHICS THEORY
TET proposes three ethics that are the foundation or motivation for all ethics: security (or safety), engagement, and imagination.
